Introducing “Work in Progress,” a six-week series for you to start working on your important goals and ideas

January 5 – February 9, 2026
Mondays at 6 p.m. at the Lounge at Very Well

What do you want to bring into the world?

A piece of writing? A creative project? A podcast? A professional accomplishment? Starting a business? Planning a big event? Something that will make a difference for yourself, your community, or the world?

Perhaps something you feel uniquely called to do—an idea you lie awake at night thinking about. Something you’ve talked about, churned over in your mind, resolved to begin time and time again.

If only you had the time, motivation, discipline, framework, feedback, accountability…

Your excuse for not starting, not making progress, probably feels solid, intimidating, insurmountable.

Yet the idea still calls to you.

WORK IN PROGRESS exists to give you the structure, motivation, and support to get clear on what you want to accomplish, begin the work, and start moving forward with support and confidence, in a safe setting.

Over six weeks, in a group setting, you’ll get:

  • Clarity on exactly what you’d like to achieve, and why it matters for yourself and the world

  • A path forward, including specific goals you’ll set for the six weeks of the series and the steps you’ll take between meetings

  • A weekly group check-in for accountability: what you’ve done so far, what got in the way, and what you’ll do before the next session

  • Structured discussion on the generative process—how people actually move from the unknowing → idea → first actions → overcoming resistance → steady progress

  • A simple daily journaling template that helps you connect your goals with specific actions, and work through the disempowering fears and stories that keep you stuck

  • Weekly check-ins with another group member for feedback, perspective, and mutual accountability

  • Weekly SMS or email check-ins with Dr. David to reflect on the bigger picture of your progress and shifting limiting stories into empowering ones

  • One Modern Sound Bath “Deep Dive” session at Very Well – a 90-minute, technology-driven experience to support clarity, focus, and nervous system reset – to give you momentum into your project ($99 value, included in your fee)

The six weeks is not necessarily about getting to the finish line, especially of a larger project. It’s about moving your project out of the “someday” category, making meaningful headway, and putting a powerful system in place so the work can continue after the series ends.

COST: $250 for the full six-week series

If you attend every session and achieve the personal goals you’ve set for the six-week process, you’ll receive either:

  • a $100 refund on your fee, OR

  • a $120 credit toward any services at Very Well

Use this series to start becoming the kind of person who follows through on their important goals. Instead of keeping your energy tied up in imagining your project and justifying why you haven’t started, you can put it to work—steadily, meaningfully, and in good company.

How to apply

This group is small by design, and the fit matters.

To explore whether WORK IN PROGRESS is right for your goals, please send a brief email with the subject line “Work in Progress” to drdavid@getverywell.com.

In a few sentences, include:

  • What you’d like to work on

  • Why it matters to you right now

  • What you hope to have accomplished or clarified in six weeks

I’ll review your idea and respond so we can decide together whether it’s a good match for this framework.
If we agree it’s a fit, I’ll send you the details to complete your registration and reserve your spot.

Feel free to tell a friend, and seating is very limited! Apply today!
