At Very Well – Baltimore’s most astonishing wellness center – our services fall into two categories:
“Hands-On” treatments — Acupuncture, Massage Therapy, and Advanced Cupping — are practitioner-led sessions where a trained clinician works directly with your body: reading it, responding to it, making real-time decisions about where and how to intervene. This is ancient medicine, refined by modern research, delivered by skilled human hands.
“Hands-Off” therapeutic technologies — PEMF, Full-Body Red Light Therapy, the Modern Sound Bath, and the Infrared Sauna + Salt Room — are sessions where you rest, and the technology does the work: restoring cellular charge, driving tissue repair, regulating the nervous system, creating deep warmth that keeps healing going long after you leave.

A while back, I wrote a piece for our blog called "When Acupuncture Alone Isn't Enough" — and the same principle applies to massage, cupping, and every hands-on treatment we offer. The core idea: skilled hands-on therapy is a spark, a precise signal that wakes your body up and reminds it how to heal. But a spark needs fuel.

A few details worth knowing:
- The free session applies to our shortest available session length for any given service.
- It's a one-time offer, per client, per service — your first experience of that technology, ever. Only one free service per client.
- It must happen on the same day as your hands-on treatment (same as the 20% discount — everything on the same visit).
- It's subject to availability: both practitioner schedules and office hours. We'll do our best, but same-day walk-in requests can't always be guaranteed, which leads us to…
How to make the most of this…
Book ahead. Both your hands-on treatment and your therapeutic technology session can be reserved on our website or by calling our office. That's the best way to make sure everything lines up — especially if you want to do something immediately before or after your main treatment.
Walk-ins for the add-on are sometimes possible, depending on the schedule that day. But "sometimes" is a less fun word than "definitely," so: book ahead.
A couple of other fine-print notes:
- Your hands-on treatment can be a package session and still qualify for the discount on your same-day hands-off add-on.
- The hands-off session itself can't be redeemed as a package session under this offer — it's booked and paid separately, at the 20% discount.
- This offer is subject to availability and runs through May 31, 2026, and subject to availability.
One more thing worth saying clearly: depending on your health goals, you may benefit from hands-on and/or hands-off sessions more than once a week — and this promotion only applies to hands-off sessions that happen on the same day as a hands-on treatment.
For the additional sessions that are part of your ongoing care rhythm, our memberships and packages are still the smartest way to make those affordable and consistent.
